My Background in Education
My background in education taught me that meaningful learning experiences are built by meeting students where they are. By using hands-on materials and technology, I focused on creating moments that helped students engage, connect, and discover their unique strengths.
Later in my teaching career, I found that working closely with students’ families brought me the greatest sense of purpose. Listening carefully, understanding their needs, and helping them navigate complex systems became second nature.
Investing in myself.
Wanting something more, something technical.
I left teaching with one mission in mind: to build a more technical career. I first explored front-end engineering but quickly realized that my deeper purpose was designing for people. Product design became my natural home, where I could stay close to users, analyze their challenges, and iterate on designs that turn real-world needs into meaningful products.
Bridging People and Products
From classrooms to product, my focus has stayed the same: understand the people I serve, advocate for their needs, and build experiences that make their work easier and more impactful.
My mission is to challenge the status quo by designing systems that make technology feel more sustainable, more human, and more hopeful.
